PRODUCT REVIEW: THE FACE SHOP – NATURAL SUN SMART CUSHION SPF 50 PA+++

Advertisements

BLOGGER EVENT: THE FACE SHOP’S MR SON DAE SIK MAKEUP SHOW AT THE TRINOMA ACTIVITY CENTER.

BLOG EVENT: THE FACE SHOP CELEBRATES ITS SIXTH YEAR AND OPENS A NEW BRANCH AT SM STA MESA.

AND I’M BACK with this week’s weekly bb cream report!

how is everyone? how bout that games of throne season ender, huh? just a quick question, dear hbo, so when you wanna end a GoT season, you bring out the dragons and a cute blonde with and raise her up from defeat, again!? hehehe nerd moment.

back to the review.  i actually have the half size of this bb cream in my stash for a while now, but at the time, i had this crazy notion that this bb cream in the purple packaging is for people with dry skin, and the blue one is for oily skinned people sorta like myself 😉

but i went ahead and tried it anyway it just came as sample sachets in this gift pack when you buy the club20 vip card 😉

i like that the ingredients are crammed and written in english at the back of this seemingly tiny sachet.

 swatchy

blended out, it gives a sorta satiny finish but eventually turns semi matte

ovey =( it’s reflective with flash photography =(

but looks natural under natural lighting.

and with a complete face and my really nice lunasol setting loose powder

i can control this to give myself the no makeup look 😉

ok, ok, if you’re wondering what the difference between this and another awesome the face shop bb cream

this one:

the ‘hd’ bb cream is supposed to be photograph purrfect.  but no matter how i shake or not shake it there is no shimmers in this hd bb cream contrary to something like the revlon photoready so it ends up matte on me.

But going back to this sorta newer powder foundation bb cream in the purple packaging.

Likes:

  • though slightly powdery in finish and in consistency, the powder foundation bb cream in the purple packaging, the bb cream in this review, it is quite easy to blend this out and does not dry too quickly
  • semi matte finish
  • spf 37 pa ++
  • slightly scented very mild
  • shade match is very good, it almost matches the fair skin on my neck!
  • i don’t get too oily and i only have to blot out the oilies from my forehead and nose once a day
  • available at our local the face shop stores in most major malls in metro manila so i don’t have to go to sm to buy the face shop stuff
  • didn’t break me out, no new milla, no additional black heads, or zits
  • surprisingly medium to buildable coverage, if i don’t have the sniffles i hardly have to apply concealer under my eyes and around my nose
  • doesn’t cake up throughout the day
  • available in two sizes
  • the packaging, it’s just like the bb cream in this video:

Dislikes:
  • not much really, the price is something dictated by shipping, taxes and mall rent but at least we are offered a half size that i think costs php495
Do i recommend:
yes, this is a good foundation disguised as a bb cream
will i purchase the full size: hehehe i have one in my stash 😉

As the title suggests this is part two of my series, me remembering the best of my 2011.  but i will start with a not so good.  remembering a not so good keeps us firmly planted to the ground and make us more careful with our own expectations of ourselves and of other people.

I recall this blogger sale in the middle of the year.  it was a bunch of bloggers getting rid of the stuff they’ve accumulated and while on paper (a great idea to them at the time) it was a wonderful opportunity for them to meet their readers and at the same time get rid of their used stuff to make room in their closets.  it’s quite possible that it was already late in the day that i arrived and most of their stuff have been looked thru and by then already disheveled and required re-steaming/ironing as their alta de siudad stuff looked like stuff from the ukay ukay on the corner of kamias and edsa, seryoso, as in.  plus the fact that i acknowledge the fact that the bloggers may have been indisposed eating somewhere else at ang mga natira ay ang mga chimay who’d rather be somewhere else as well.  but some altas/debutantes were there one of whom recognized my lanyard and sheepishly was embarrassed dahil kpop ang lanyard ko. wag ka na mahiya, girl, uso naman ang kpop eh, panira lang si Mo at si KC.

lanyard seen below in my pic was the lanyard recognized ‘ey it’s big bang!’ then cowers back to her iphone pretending to be texting while mumbling…’la lang just saying’:

so i wrote about it here whilst not mentioning that blogger event sale since i wrote about it the very next day and i didn’t want to seem accusing because of the facts mentioned above (that the bloggers were tired, not there, etc) and oh gawd, the venue was poorly lit TO TOP IT ALL, half the time i nearly stumbled over their over priced USED shoes!  so stuff i learned, don’t go to events by yourself para may kasama kang mang-lait after hahaha.  always wear your company jacket to tell them altas that though i’m a call center agent i can still blog and afford most of the shit i blog about.  and most of all, wag pa-apekpek sa mga taong kung makatingin sa iyo ay ikaw ay lower life form.  i get that 5 days out of the week in broad daylight, i don’t need it from these debutantes.

ay ang haba na…ano na kasi sinasabi ko? AH YES, counting my blessings…moving on.

one of my highlights of this year was meeting Nikki, Shen, and Sophie.  this was a ponds event and the ladies were top pics on facebook and by ponds for their campaign at the time.

that started a ball rolling when i met Trixie of Nuffnang and Iya a really nice blogger and Shen again at one of clinique sponsored get togethers, at ayun oh, si Alice asa likod hahaha, oh Alice ba’t di ka tumakbo para masama sa pic!?

This 2011 was also the start of other Korean cosmetics companies (other than Etude House that is) that began to give me notice and sent me their stuff for review.  Mid year was The Skin Shop:

this is when, thanks to the skin shop, that i discovered how fantastic snail creams are!  thank you thank you!

Mid year as well, finally after 30 years! Kylie graced us with her goddess presence and i was there beecheSS!

also in July i was invited by Tony Moly Philippines to their Mega Mall opening that i wrote about here

i also got a photo-op with popular blogger Shen of Shensaddiction.com at this Tony Moly event:

ay sorry naman big bang parin ang lanyard…blackjacks! songjongki phil! t-ara-phil pabili ng lanyard sa 28th at 30th ha, thanks!

and it may be late, but one of my readers told me that i’ve been seen on the etude house magazines LOL

here:

and here:

truth be told, i doubt my blog will be as half as effective in reaching out to my intended audience withOUT Etude House.  Etude house answers so many of our Pinay’s needs.  inexpensive, cute, yet QUALITY cosmetics and skincare with such a popularity flare thanks to our love affair with kpop/kdramas.  Etude House! thanks so much for 2010 and now 2011!

then also in July, theBenj with my hero Tania had the great fortune of going to Singapore!

i super loved this trip and had about 5 different posts because of it, to think we only stayed 3days and 2nights!

thanks to this trip i got to see, hahaha big bang, hehehe this post is littered with the mention of big bang, aint it???

and of course 2ne1!

of the kpop acts that have come out of korea, these are the two, with the exemption of RAIN that no longer need to prove themselves to anyone, to koreans, and most specially our american music loving pinoys.  these two groups have already been awarded and celebrated by mtv, at the recent mtv ema’s and mtv iggy’s best new band.  so if anyone else doubt(s) why kpop is that awesome, just take a look at these two groups and how worldwide they have become in the span of less than 5 years!  if that still casts a doubt in your white mind, then well wala na kong magagawa.

in the span of about 2-3 mos i got another invite from tony moly to their product launch:

and i finally got to sit down and share a meal with popular blogger Jheng of iambrigette.com, sa kulitan namin di kami naka-kain ng husto hahaha

notably this year i’ve been winning many blog contests namely (and in no particular order)

  1. Shen’s 3rd year anniversary contest and she was super kind that she invited me to the Pond’s flawless white event at Fiamma
  2. mister fruit machine chose my name when Nikki was giving away tickets to the multiply party at white space i even had extra tickets thanks to Alice 😉
  3. another randomizer picked my name out when Pinkiecharm was doing one of twitter giveaways and i won my first ever as in ever mac product

note to people out there:  Irene has this incredible online reputation of being something other than what she is not.  you know? i really can’t reconcile that reputation with the way she treats me and Apple for that matter.  UNTIL i realized.  well, she’s brutally honest, like yours truly. and if PEOPLE out there with NOTHING BETTER TO DO BUT TO MAKE INTRIGUES about a person and talk behind people’s back and jeopardize your reputation then that is between those closed minded people and their maker (God).  Irene treats people like me with kind words, why?  because i’m kind to her.  I and clearly, people like Irene will diss you if you diss me, and clearly, people like her.  it’s that simple, if you’re nasty to me then don’t expect me to kiss your ass (where ever that is).

  1. (ay bumalik sa 1-phhhtt hahaha) i won a microwave! homaygawd wth?  sa Christmas party namin.  my name got picked!

homay, super random naman.  two of us from our account (but diff LOB-line of business) got our names picked at the ofc xmas party raffle!  further proof that the company i work for is merely a business and does not take things personally and makes you ‘gago’.  i’ve been with the company for 6 years now, i’ve never won anything from the company itself, maybe it’s fate that the other girl and i show others out there that a random event like this is entirely possible.  i kinda wish now the nega ones won na lang at least something like this would bring a smile to their faces, even for a moment.

and speaking of winning out of so many names, you know imma gonna mention this right???  that’s me, the 4th name.

and one of the best things that ever came out of my 2011??

and lastly my number one blessing:

no, not etude, hahaha though etude house has been superduper fantastic to me since their arrival to the philippines.  it’s my hubby of course!

every time i go home after work, i remind myself to shed off any negativity i’ve accumulated throughout the day.  my wonderful hubby deserves so much more than to go home with someone bitching about her day.  we all have troubles how we spend our days anyway, i am clearly no exception.  what sets us apart is how we deal with all the negativity.  i was lucky enough to have been given a wonderful hubby who has taught and given me so much.  i can only hope that i can be the wife he deserves in those times in our lives when we are tested and challenged.

there are so many happenings in 2011 that one post just won’t express how wonderful and busy i was this year.  there was the Korean Philippine cultural exchange, there was the visit by two of our ss501 kids last february, there was super junior’s concert and so much more!

Kpop and Korean cosmetics is what drove this blog all throughout 2011 and most likely these two factors, the factors that made me start this blog to begin with will be my main focus in 2012!

i’ve two more events before the year ends and both are kpop related.  hope to see you on the 28th! at megatrade hall

and of course on the 30th at the megatent! don’t forget to bring your donations for Sendong victims on the 30th! see you here!

Some of you who liked my facebook page may have seen my HK travels album here and saw that HK is indeed a shopping city LOL.  the hubby and i were there for three days and half.  we did the nathan road shopping thing.

and naturally, since my current addiction is Laneige, i came home with a few goodies from that brand.  full sized items are cheaper in Manila.  but the sample sizes are found in HK and are for sale O_o.  the water sleeping pack was about 800+ on the street, i just didn’t get it since at the time i haven’t really tried it, and i already have several sample size of the water sleeping pack for me to try.  oh yeah, next to bonjour and the body shop, laneige stores were abound.

apart from sasa, that sold samples from guerlain to estee lauder to elizabeth arden, colour mix was a store i visited in two locations.  they carried lioele, skin79, the face shop and this taiwanese brand called shills.

i got these at sasa.  ah the famous dollywink.  kala ko naman kung ano, maganda pa packaging ng ever b at careline or halos pareho lang.

In Macau though, at the Venetian, i found this boutique, phew! one boutique to conquer all!  It’s a Korean cosmetics shop!  oo may Laneige din dyan, samwerz.  spotted, etude house and tony moly!

and a section dedicated to that slave management label called sment, phfft.  yep, the sales girl said that they were commissioned by sment to sell their original and official SMEnt merch.  (sment is the label that manages super kpop groups like super junior, tvxq, shinee, and girls generation, not to mention kpop mainstay BoA). so here below are the uber expensive mugs, clear file folders, and other office supplies with our favorite kpop idols.

From that store i came away with my missha snail cream set and a holika holika tinted lip balm/gloss.  from that purchase they gave me their sweetmay makeup case and a face cream/essence in a sachet.

so yeah, sa Macau yung may libre.  so it really is a Korean thing to give away freebies with purchase.  the Laneige store in Harbour city mall didn’t give didleee squat, hay, it was about 500 bucks cheaper at Laneige harbour city mall branch but well, from the point of view of a pinoy, pupunta  ka pa ng hk para makatipid ng 500, eh di well, sa shangri la na lang or trinoma (moa or robinson’s place) for your laneige fix may libre ka pang kung ano anong anik anik, sa hk wala!

back in Hong Kong.  theBenj found Sino center for me, this hole in the wall vira mall type of mall (circa 1980’s as in before the fire vira mall).  this is the place to buy kpop official and unofficial merch.  the big bang stuff is official while the leader stuff well, fanmade.

From Page One i got a catalogue mag.  these asian magazines often include goodies with the mag.  the tweens often by the mag for the goodies.  this was the last copy of this Arashi mag.  and this mag made miss my sister in Asian-pop madness, Dek.  ayan nakunan ko na ng picture.  the bag stays but once i’ve taken photo’s of jun, i’ll ship the mag off to you na.  i used that bag at the office xmas party lmao!

Along Nathan road, there are side streets, one of them is Shun Yee street and on one corner there is camille road.  at that area i found this st francis/vira mall type of boutique (so no fitting allowed) where the prices of the clothes are half the price compared to most of the clothes i’ve seen so far through the many malls along nathan road.  the name of the store is in fashion.

for the office i got a few blouses.

a dress for date night ^_^

ahhh well y’all know i can’t keep away for the corally-peachy blouses.

and a pair of hose(s)

a nice blouse for the Christmas party.

which i wore at the Christmas party.

below is the black vest thing.

all the blouses didn’t go over 450 O_o where as compared to the malls, both in HK and in Manila, blouses of such designs would go for double those prices. hahaha i am proud to say, including the boots from naf naf, my entire outfit for the Christmas party was roughly about PhP1200 O_0 oo, HKD50 (around 300peTot) lang yung leggings with felt type of fabric the blouse was only HKD49 (around 280petoTs) so around PhP500 blouse and pants na.  then the naf naf boots were on half off sale last oct ba yun, so asa 700 or less. hahaha.  sorry peeps, i’d rather spend on skin care than on clothes.  though that may change as well. but i’m far from posting outfits of the day, but who knows, there’s a korean owned store in greenhills with roughly the same prices as this in fashion shop in HK

disclaimer:

except for the holiday edition lip duo and blush from laneige, the items above are Christmas + 8th year anniv gifts to me from the hubby.  so to the judgmental people out there, eh well, grind your teeth for all i care.

hahahaha may ganon? la lang each time i post a haul vid on my youtube channel, as in each time, i have a thumbs down. like i said grind your teeth hahaha

are we traveling again soon? maybe, i’m hoping to catch leader in Sg, or once big bang releases their new album in 2012, and when they tour, i’m hoping to catch them in BKK or Sg (historically, they have not visited HK, but who knows..)

i kinda liked the weather in HK it was winter but the temps were only around 16 degrees.  it was Macau that was bitingly cold at 11 degrees with WIND.  i loved the fact that my makeup didn’t melt of regardless of the long walks hahaha.  i hardly blotted the oils off my nose!

til next time folks 😉

Finally, i get to post this.  I got this about last week, when it exploded on facebook.  so here it is.  i, took pictures of every page, but i’ll just post the ones that actually relevant to me.

this statement actually surprised me, he’s 25-26 now, so he may mean here below, that after he’s served the military and the time he has now til then, that he’d focus more on improving his skills before he makes any attempt in being in a band.  take note, band.  this guy does play the guitar and lead guitar at that.  it just so happens his face overtook his guitar skills when he applied for a job when he first started out in the business.

more of a mature, better-fed jihoo.

i’m glad that i bought this mag.  very few mags are in english enough to make fangirling over guys like this meaningful to someone like myself who grew up on the muppets and sesame street.

August 2011: when he visited the Philippines as part of his whirlwind tour for his breakdown album and the face shop.  I actually met the ladies of Sparkling Magazine at the Moa event, but they weren’t allowed to take pictures officially so, like regular fangirls they had to raise their dslr’s and point and shoot and hope for the best.

tony moly and etude house, friendly on the budget with packaging for tweens and mid 20’s ladies.

except for the violet bottled bb cream and the compact, i’ve tried all of the products below, and the only one i would NOT recommend is the body shop one with the shiso 😦 super expensive for such a tiny amount for a so so bb cream.

yey, a Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines.  It’s not just about kpop, it’s an entire history of a people.  at least they opened this 20th branch here in the Philippines, for those interested in more than pop culture.

ah the kdramas.  i’ve seen scandal and i super LOVED IT, thanks to that show i’m now a big fan of Tony Moly’s endorser, Song Joong Ki and The Face Shop female endorser, Park Min Young. i’ve seen he’s beautiful so i always have room for FTI and CNBlue. i have secret garden at home now.  and notably, hanakimi.  a japanese drama, a very good one according to my jpop addicted friend.  at least, Sparkling mentioned Jpop at all.  it is after all, the original in Asian Pop.  it just so happens that Kpop is pushing its way to be the top.

and of course, what’s an issue without the mention of rain and big bang? answer:  an incomplete magazine, that’s what.  though i’ll leaf through it again and see if there was a mention of lee min ho.  but usually the mere sight of his nose makes my eyes go like this O_O and right away i know it’s Lee Min Ho.

Kim Hyun Joong has a new album out, Lucky guy, but honestly, after that ‘climax’ i had with the pic taking with Hyun Joong and Rain’s rest, as of yesterday from Kpop, as he entered the military, that honeymoon phase i have(had) with Kpop is over.
Where my addictions will take me, i’ve yet to know, all i know is if there’s anything i won’t buy it’s mac both the cosmetic and the computer, nyahahaha.

Your input is welcome ♥☺

This an account and farewell to August.  As some you who follow my blog, i’ve been wary about the month of August even in the midst of enjoying myself back in July.

the reason is below.  it seems fair, doesn’t it?  and really as a marketing stand point, the mechanics is truly quite fair, from a marketing point of view.  and it’s left to lady luck to choose you.

for example.  this ticket below.  this is the last ticket i bought, on the last day of the promo, the 17th.  the computer cash register at the robinson’s galeria hung and had to be re-boot(ed), i used my card to accumulate miles, so they had to swipe that, dial the credit card number get the approval while waiting for the cash register to load up and accept the sale while i filled out my name, in short form, Marge aaaand i had 7mins left in break.  off i went, with this crumpled ticket, i ran the distance from the face shop store to our building, a good half a block, fr the elevator to my desk, in 4mins.  that my friends, is a feat for me, since i don’t walk much and i certainly don’t run.  for all my jeet kune do in my younger days, that stamina is now gone.

so when my friends started to notify me via facebook and even my friend Elisa called me, i couldn’t believe it specially because of the winning ticket.  to me it seemed like a joke, reading the name, i knew it was the last ticket i filled out, since i always fill out anything with my real name, Margareth.

I was present for his high five event the previous day.  in all out support for his solo album being promoted here. so i am one of the few who was able to touch his hand and tell him thank you to his face.

I would like to add, in the many hundreds of people that he greets, he takes time to look at you, directly in the eyes and respond to you.  no matter how quickly that moment is, he still tries to grab the chance to look at you.  i was in the fourth row and queued up since 6.30am at trinoma so i was able to queue for a seat as well near the front so i was fortunate enough to be part of the  front rows allowed to come up on stage and be able to do the high five event.  some people were even there at around 330am!  nope, i personally didn’t have an A-card, my sister in law does.  and i didn’t know that expired ones even from another user could be used so i could skip the long wait/queue.  i also felt i had to be there in the trenches with the rest of the fans to somehow feel the fangirl experience.  and in all fairness, i actually gained at least 3more friends, 2 from the company i work for, as a matter of fact! thanks Paz and Grace for saving my spot while i got a new dress!

but my own event was for the next day.  i will happily recall the random girls that were congratulating me.  i still couldn’t believe it, until i actually was at SM Moa that morning that i was gonna see these two again.

this time, the visit at the SM Moa is part of The Face Shop Asia Tour

where you have the endorser, currently, Kim Hyun Joong tour different Asian countries and promote the brand and its latest products.

he greeted us, and well in that shirt, i was mesmerized. i felt like a teen ager.  between Hyun Joong his angelic face his body and his body guard, it was all i could do to keep from fainting!  on a personal note, i was also suffering a female pain that, well as luck would have it, had to arrive this very day.

and the body guard: the one that never smiles but has captured the hearts of many fans.

as much as i love the rugged look on the kim hyun joong, he sure does look good in slacks an in this linen shirt, which well, fits his form really, really as in really well.

and my prize.

close kami?  he actually leaned me forward, idk, to be not too tall for the camera men?

it actually surprised me that he put his arm around my shoulder.  though my friend Karren already warned me about it, and i had the presence of mind to switch to secret’s platinum protection.  i knew i’d be desperate pain and may sweat.  seeeeee there, i couldn’t even go closer, i was afraid to taint him or something.

doesn’t his smile look so relaxed and genuine? that’s one of the comments given by my new FB friend, Babes, that he seemed relaxed.  all i could say was kamsahamnida their thank you in polite form then bowed my head, yet he still got to look at me directly and tell me you’re welcome, and in english. LOL

there were 7 pix posted the face shop philippines, wall.

I skipped going to his other events.  soon as he left my physical pain came back and i received not so great news.  i found out that someone whom i thought was a good acquaintance was verbal in her disbelief that my ticket was picked out of the the face shop DTI registered raffle.  all i can say is, though i am a beauty blogger and though i frequent the face shop regardless of promos, i, like the rest of the fans bought at least 500 worth of the face shop products to qualify to buy the korean version album with 2posters and the raffle ticket.  i would like to add if ever i dismissed this person, if ever i was harsh to you in anyway that i apologize.  you should know i tried to help you one time to get sponsorship for the event that you needed funding.  if ever you bought ten times more than i did, i am sorry if your ticket didn’t pop up.  i am glad to hear that you were at the face shop party and i hope now that you are with new friends you are happy.

now that i have these pix and have run their 15mins of fame on the interwebs, i can let go.  thank you kim hyun joong, thank you the face shop for this successful international event.  i am very happy to have been part of it, and have somehow contributed to it.

apart from the Shen’s Clinique event and the last weekend of August, not much has happened, except the weird stuff i just now chuck off to Aughost.  I learned a lot from the people around me this month. learning something is always good.

Farewell, August.

Hello September.

How was your August?

One of the things i bought during the most recent Kim Hyun Joong promo.  it interests me that neither tony moly and etude house didn’t have a peel off mask.  just those nose and chin dry tapes that pull out your black heads.

click on the pic below for the ingredients, instructions etc and yes it’s in english LOL

kinda looks like honey.  it’s as sticky as honey, too.  but it doesn’t smell too much like honey, just a little unless i’m just used to suebee honey LOL or is it souix bee?

 once it dries

bawal igalaw ang mukha, yan influence of the Ian LOL – no need to click to enlarge the pic, bwahahaha just goofin off 😛

 and thus my crud

it’s quite refreshing.  AND I didn’t have to mix mix knox gelatin hahaha, too lazy

and lo and behold.  even my hubby wanted a his peel off treatment ^_^ while on my face i merely used my fingers to apply the product but on the hubby i used elf’s one dollar foundation/concealer brush because it was flat enough and it’s a synthetic brush.  apply this liberally, otherwise you’d have a shizz of a time peeling this off.

i’m trying another peeling product this week but i would like to share a few thoughts on this one:

Like:

  • comes in an upside down squeeze-y tube for easy dispensing of the product
  • dries quickly but not too quickly enough to spread around
  • if applied thick enough it’s easy to peel off specially in the creases around my nose
  • both mine and the hubby’s skin feel squeaky clean after peeling of the product
  • i didn’t peel off or pull out my black heads LOL, but it’s really for taking off dry skin and the ones that are about to be shed off anyway
  • no stinging sensation on our skin while it was drying
  • no harsh reactions from either of us
  • no reddening, no itching
  • pulled off the excess skin that needed shedding around my retinol medicated zit on the lower right part of my chin
  • smells sweet and like dial gold sorta
  • the really thin layers that were hard to peel off by hand/tweezers were easily removed by a cotton pad with toner or by water
  • no dry feeling after the product was peeled off

Dislikes:

  • my usual complaint for the face shop phils products the prices LOL, kinda pricey for Korean products.

will i repurchase:

for once, i will say yes to this.  just cuz i’m lazy to look for any other brand and i’m lazy to DIY ala michelle phan

do i recommend: definitely, specially if your lazy like me.

what’s your peel off treatment?

DISCLAIMER: stuff posted here weren’t purchased all in one weekend.  these were purchased over the course of at least 2-3 pay days.

The gods of olympus have been naughty with me but in the 3rd week of August they have decided to give me a reprieve and finally smiled on me.  First, was Shen’s Clinique party that, as the gods would have it, i would be free that Saturday so i goW.  Then forever 21 would be having a weekend sale and coincidentally enough it was at the makati branch.  so while the other ladies at Shen’s Clinique Party were being given their consultation/makeover, my achie and i sneaked in at F21 and took advantage of the sale.  the three blouses below i all got at half off ☺

i like this tomato red color and i think my cat does, too! LOL but hmmm he was looking at the socks?  does your cat dive into your sock drawer like mine does???

dedma si muning sa last blouse. LOL

overall, it was a pretty fair deal.  the queues at the fitting rooms were ridiculously long, good thing i know that i’m either an S/P or M/M.  although i was told by my office mate that some hanguk people didn’t see the need to waste their time queuing up at the fitting rooms for items that they can simply pull over their tall and slender bodies and get an approximation if it fits them.  so some ajusshis (pinoy ones) got to see some ladies in their tidy whities O_O.  so yeah it does get that crazy at F21 during their sale weekends.

can you believe i escaped in less than 20mins? and got back to Shen’s Clinique party in time for more photo-ops LOL.

yesterday though, i got to do some daughterly duties and got to provide for my abeoji for their utilities and got to buy him a new pair of new balance casuals at 10% at planet sports in trinoma.  but hola, i turn around and saw it was half off fr Keds! and got this pair, navy canvassy-suedy- samkindachorva.

but even before this and even before before my little splurge at Naf Naf i got this pair at the Robinson’s Dept store as part of their season ender sale: both the keds and the sandals below were purchased on half off.

back to Korea-land, this is what greeted theBenj and I as we entered the block at sm city (north/west)

and i got me a few items to replace the ones i’m running out of. click the picture below to enlarge.  my office mate has that concealer eye liner brush, i got to use hers and decided i get my own LOL.  i got the brush below almost for free, by the way, since i used my rcbc citrus card to pay for the snail cream.  on top of getting the brush almost for free i got that nifty mirror…see the girl in the middle, that’s a mirror!

☺♥

At tony moly finally i get the last of the GT series nail polishes the shade i was missing is this, the ‘earth shade’

up close it looks like this: pls click on the pic to enlarge and see the splendor of Earth.

at the face shop as part of their Kim Hyun Joong meet and greet promo i had to buy these lovelies below to avail of the raffle tickets.  aww will you look at that, i actually repurchased something, their herb day lip and eye MAKEUP remover.  i purchased their cracked nail polish, too.  and i’ll use that soft salmon shade as the undercoat.  gray and salmon, hmmmm.  got another korean version of leader’s solo album as per promo mechanics and yep, more of those free serum stuff.

and from a triple s philippines member, Jhed, i ordered leader’s photobook/calendar diary thingy.

so in the package you get pages upon pages of leader’s mug in different photo shoots, and the other booklet is a calendar/diary.  yeh, we think he’s an alien not just because his face is too beautiful for this planet but the way he is, he process ideas quite differently and has since been dubbed as 4D (no, not 4D which is what time is in relation to the space time continuum).  i actually don’t know and do not care where the fans got the idea of calling a guy with a different way of processing things as 4D, i guess they’re just not happy calling the guy weird or eccentric or just plain different.  so yeah by that tone, i don’t agree with the  term.

a little announcement nyahahaha:

except for the Charm travel pro brushes, i’m going to be on a shopping diet until december hahaha.  and i have to blog it.  that way y’all can yell at me if buy another piece of clothing, kpop merch, and of course, cosmetic/makeup.

at any rate, i’ve got loads to blog and review on LOL

so how has your sale weekend?
