Hi folks, i’m back with our weekly bb cream feature.  This week is a new brand on my radar.  Elisha Coy. I got this sample bb cream from kkochipida.mulitply.com when i ordered a full size ElishaCoy snail cream.

In my search for the best snail cream, ElishaCoy popped up.  and so did their bb creams.  This is a sample size and therefore no box.  therefore, too, there is no ingredient list picture of my own.  but i hope the pictures below would help.

so it gives the usual bb cream promise.

and here’s the ingredient list.  kindly click the picture to enlarge.

and here’s the product description from the back of this sample.  i like the fact that they were kind enough to include a how to use and a little product description on the back of this sample tube.  it’s in English since this brand is targeted for the west.

it’s a thick foundation and quite, dimethicone-y.

but with medium to buildable natural looking coverage with a little satin finish.

so it evened out my coloring.  the under eye darkness.

and it’s not reflective considering it has spf of 35 and pa of ++.

and now my entire face with this bb cream.  my only two ‘issues’

for something that says baby – it makes me look made up (my camera is just way too kind to me)

and for something that says baby – it’s quite thick and dimethicone-y in texture and feeling.

Likes:

  • hardly any noticeable scent
  • medium to buildable coverage, you can use this, too, without setting powder
  • satin not shimmery finish
  • pore coverage is a winner
  • didn’t break me out, no new millia, black or white heads
  • spf 35 is great for indoors, pa of ++ is ok for indoors, just don’t stay out too long in the sun or under direct sun light for too long
  • does not cake up in the middle of the day
  • easy to remove at the end of the day
  • but coverage lasts all day (but i haven’t been walking around in humid heat lately so i haven’t tested it out for that)
  • oil control is so so, i still have to blot out my oily t-zone twice a day.
  • shade match is almost there.  it’s still a tad darker than my neck but just a tad that it looks normal on me. (yung hindi naman masyado too light, that’s freaky scary LOL)
  • doesn’t really oxidize on me

Dislike:

  • baby? so it gives a clear looking face without blemish, but i feel too made up under this.
  • slight heavy feeling, like the feeling of too much foundation
  • oil control contrary to it’s press release is merely so so

Do i recommend this? – yes, specially if you live in a temperate climate (not humid and tropical)

Will i purchase the full size? – no i wanna try always nudy

has anyone else tried this brand?
