Some of you who liked my facebook page may have seen my HK travels album here and saw that HK is indeed a shopping city LOL.  the hubby and i were there for three days and half.  we did the nathan road shopping thing.

and naturally, since my current addiction is Laneige, i came home with a few goodies from that brand.  full sized items are cheaper in Manila.  but the sample sizes are found in HK and are for sale O_o.  the water sleeping pack was about 800+ on the street, i just didn’t get it since at the time i haven’t really tried it, and i already have several sample size of the water sleeping pack for me to try.  oh yeah, next to bonjour and the body shop, laneige stores were abound.

apart from sasa, that sold samples from guerlain to estee lauder to elizabeth arden, colour mix was a store i visited in two locations.  they carried lioele, skin79, the face shop and this taiwanese brand called shills.

i got these at sasa.  ah the famous dollywink.  kala ko naman kung ano, maganda pa packaging ng ever b at careline or halos pareho lang.

In Macau though, at the Venetian, i found this boutique, phew! one boutique to conquer all!  It’s a Korean cosmetics shop!  oo may Laneige din dyan, samwerz.  spotted, etude house and tony moly!

and a section dedicated to that slave management label called sment, phfft.  yep, the sales girl said that they were commissioned by sment to sell their original and official SMEnt merch.  (sment is the label that manages super kpop groups like super junior, tvxq, shinee, and girls generation, not to mention kpop mainstay BoA). so here below are the uber expensive mugs, clear file folders, and other office supplies with our favorite kpop idols.

From that store i came away with my missha snail cream set and a holika holika tinted lip balm/gloss.  from that purchase they gave me their sweetmay makeup case and a face cream/essence in a sachet.

so yeah, sa Macau yung may libre.  so it really is a Korean thing to give away freebies with purchase.  the Laneige store in Harbour city mall didn’t give didleee squat, hay, it was about 500 bucks cheaper at Laneige harbour city mall branch but well, from the point of view of a pinoy, pupunta  ka pa ng hk para makatipid ng 500, eh di well, sa shangri la na lang or trinoma (moa or robinson’s place) for your laneige fix may libre ka pang kung ano anong anik anik, sa hk wala!

back in Hong Kong.  theBenj found Sino center for me, this hole in the wall vira mall type of mall (circa 1980’s as in before the fire vira mall).  this is the place to buy kpop official and unofficial merch.  the big bang stuff is official while the leader stuff well, fanmade.

From Page One i got a catalogue mag.  these asian magazines often include goodies with the mag.  the tweens often by the mag for the goodies.  this was the last copy of this Arashi mag.  and this mag made miss my sister in Asian-pop madness, Dek.  ayan nakunan ko na ng picture.  the bag stays but once i’ve taken photo’s of jun, i’ll ship the mag off to you na.  i used that bag at the office xmas party lmao!

Along Nathan road, there are side streets, one of them is Shun Yee street and on one corner there is camille road.  at that area i found this st francis/vira mall type of boutique (so no fitting allowed) where the prices of the clothes are half the price compared to most of the clothes i’ve seen so far through the many malls along nathan road.  the name of the store is in fashion.

for the office i got a few blouses.

a dress for date night ^_^

ahhh well y’all know i can’t keep away for the corally-peachy blouses.

and a pair of hose(s)

a nice blouse for the Christmas party.

which i wore at the Christmas party.

below is the black vest thing.

all the blouses didn’t go over 450 O_o where as compared to the malls, both in HK and in Manila, blouses of such designs would go for double those prices. hahaha i am proud to say, including the boots from naf naf, my entire outfit for the Christmas party was roughly about PhP1200 O_0 oo, HKD50 (around 300peTot) lang yung leggings with felt type of fabric the blouse was only HKD49 (around 280petoTs) so around PhP500 blouse and pants na.  then the naf naf boots were on half off sale last oct ba yun, so asa 700 or less. hahaha.  sorry peeps, i’d rather spend on skin care than on clothes.  though that may change as well. but i’m far from posting outfits of the day, but who knows, there’s a korean owned store in greenhills with roughly the same prices as this in fashion shop in HK

except for the holiday edition lip duo and blush from laneige, the items above are Christmas + 8th year anniv gifts to me from the hubby.  so to the judgmental people out there, eh well, grind your teeth for all i care.

hahahaha may ganon? la lang each time i post a haul vid on my youtube channel, as in each time, i have a thumbs down. like i said grind your teeth hahaha

are we traveling again soon? maybe, i’m hoping to catch leader in Sg, or once big bang releases their new album in 2012, and when they tour, i’m hoping to catch them in BKK or Sg (historically, they have not visited HK, but who knows..)

i kinda liked the weather in HK it was winter but the temps were only around 16 degrees.  it was Macau that was bitingly cold at 11 degrees with WIND.  i loved the fact that my makeup didn’t melt of regardless of the long walks hahaha.  i hardly blotted the oils off my nose!

til next time folks 😉

Woot another Tony Moly eyeshadow look.  My last one was for a subtle classy graduation party look using the tony moly self smokey collection

This is trio pallet is thanks to the good taste of Charmaine of Kkochipida.

as with the previous eye shadows that i’ve tried from Tony Moly, that’s baked.  i got the same really pigmented and satin-y finish.  i love the pink and the bronzey sorta golden green.  the lightest shade though is a little chunky chalky shimmery.

but from afar it looks just fine, so i guess i’m just crazy-paranoid

the day i took this pic i had on tony moly products, their triple expert bb cream, their bb whipping bb, their eye primer, and this eye shadow trio

except for the eyeliner and possibly the mascara, the make up doesn’t feel like anything at all.

i like the coverage of the combination of triple expert bb cream and teh whipping bb.  it makes me looks finished without looking too heavily made up.  the bronzy greenish gold is just an added sparkle.  but i can wear just the pink and the white shimmery champagne shade and that’s just fine.

it was quite a sunny day when i took these pix.  the rains will eventually stop, well eventually, then we’d be complaining how hot it is outside again.  hahaha there’s really no pleasing us, huh?

there are times i wish i was park shin hye 😦 in the ads below, she gets to spend time with 3 of the hottest stars in the Korean music/acting industries, Jang Geun Seuk, Lee Min Ho and of course Kim Hyun Joong.

wow it seems so long ago since i’ve gotten into this makeup craze thanks to an invite from my sister in law to one of those Bobbi Brown mini seminars / launch of their collection at the time, back in ’08.  since it was bobbi brown and the lauder that it is i was then looking for cheaper alternatives and something that will go well with our humid environment. i then stumbled onto mineral makeup, then quickly got over that,  because i had discovered bb creams, Asian makeup and Korean Dramas in what seem like just a span of 3-6 months!  thanks to youtube and the night shift, i quickly got acquianted with the boys over flowers, their music, and their seemingly flawless skin.

it’s still these two guys after all this time that get my attention.  and thanks to lee min ho and kim hyun joong i’ve settled on at least 3 Korean brands. of course they are Etude House, Tony Moly and The Face Shop

hahaha even for water they get the current top stars to endorse

and our somewhat our own, Sandara Park for Etude.

a manly sexy ad for Tony Moly

and leader’s newer ad for TFS ahh at least this new one is inline with what i’m used to with Tony Moly

apart from the Bobbi Brown event, the Etude House grand launch is what i would call my very first makeup event.  it was at resorts world, republiq, the president of Etude House Korea was there and Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye spared time from their busy schedules and made video greetings even whilst their contracts with Etude were on the last few months already.

why the trip down memory lane?  la lang i went on youtube to uplift my feelings just a tad.  i went to this thing yesterday and i ended up feeling left out and totally didn’t belong.  sure they were friendly since, c’mon, they were trying to unload their stuff at their event.  but i did get stares fr head to toe first before i was greeted.  phhhhfft felt i was back in assumption again [san lo].  and the registration girls were hmmm didn’t really take care of this new person trying to get it. they didn’t know that the entrance fee is half off when you bring some kind of school supply or used school book. fine whatever.
but oh, segue back to kpop lol, one coniotic girl did notice my vip lanyard, bwahahaha and motioned to her sister, ‘ey it’s big bang!’ then sheepishly said ‘la lang’ like hmmm come out of the kpop closet already, not everything is bruno mars in music, y’ know.
theBenj notice immediately i was not the usual chipper Marge and i merely told him how i felt.  i said, i feel old, outdated, and yeah, i feel old.  he said, i don’t care i still love you.  pinagalitan ba ko 😛  and he treated me to arya since he was feeling like a sweet lassi and he knew i loved Arya.
there, hehehe nuff said, since this is what makes me happy imma gonna stick this this 😉 i’m even trying, still to learn hangul bwahahaha, seonsengnim, i promise to get back to you for my module two final exam LOL.
there, i feel better LMAO thanks to theBenj, youtube and my addiction 😛

but but but then there are days i wish was UEE instead LOL pahabol?
ooops a tad too bright in my tiny little iBox studio LOL.
i posted the arrival of these babies on my sorta new facebook page, hope you can like it and interact with me there, some more 😉
i got these from, as usual and as always, Charmaine of Kkochipida and as usual, as with any Korean store, be it online, online reseller, or the real franchise or boutique you get freebies.  Charmaine already knows what I like and knows that I like Kpop ‘merch’ so she gave me a box of cotton with leader’s face on it. [leader=Kim Hyun Joong=leader of the group SS501].  she even wrapped my stuff in a magazine page with Song Joongki on one side and Big Bang on the other. LOL, thanks a bunches 😉
here’s my order.  yep, apart from the word colorstay, two letter’s are already subliminal and make me order and those two letters are BB, phfffft and that sorta now includes the idol group, too!  i actually saw this by accident while visiting her site and i landed on her onhand ready to ship page, i think i was proving to a youtube subscriber who messaged me [said yt subscriber claims dear Charmaine does not put the price of the items she loads on her site] that indeed Charmaine does put the prices of the items she has on hand and for pre-order.  so ayun, ayan, the words tony moly and bb in one, hala sige goew!
it’s in a tub, that hmmm doesn’t look too full, huh? it’s 18.5 grams content.
from the google chrome translation of the product description from the tony moly website:
[2 poseulrin]
Cyclopenta siloxane, mechilteurimechikon, C30-45 Alkyl three Te Lil Dee mechanism Politics cone cross-polymer, titanium dioxide (CI 77891), neo-pen Til glycol Diego seven Six No Eight, methyl methacrylate cross-polymer, dextrin palmitate, cycle Six siloxane, Mica (CI 77019), stability, a twelve depressed, Aluminum Star chiok Te Neil seats for Nate, and yellow iron oxide (CI 77492), argan tree kernel oil, diamond powder, amethyst powder, pearl powder, tourmaline, vines Mon citrus fruit extracts strawberry extract, raspberry extract, blueberry extract, blackberry extract, platinum powder, silica, shea butter, poly methyl room wheels Seth Yushan, purified water, butilrengeulrayikol, butilparaben, mechilparaben, spices, red iron oxide (CI 77491 ), black iron oxide (CI 77499)

omg lamang a 12 depressed Aluminium star? seats for Nate? Nate Berkus ba itey?  at may politics pang nalalaman LOL talaga tong si google translate, you iz scary!
y’all would need a separate spatula to scoop out the product from the tub for hygienic purposes.
it comes with this really soft, synthetic fiber brush.  it’s retractable so it’s a space saver, it’s part of the lid! genius LOL
ahmm huwaoow the coverage.
and well it’s reflective, though.  i guess i can pull it off, the skin on my face is nearly the same as my arms and just a little brighter than my neck.
it takes very little of the product to cover my entire face.  so i guess i’m not too disappointed in the amount of product it has in the tub for the price.
underneath is my neutrogena ultra sheer sunscreen followed by the holika holika pore cover mousse starter, then this whippping bb cream.  i use the revlon colorstay mineral aqua to set it all.  so yeah, pag di pa naman na fill in ang pores ko, huwaw ewan ko na LOL
it has a satin finish so there’s a subtle, as in very subtle shine ok fine, glow daw, hihihi with the pearl and amethyst powder, right?.  quite appropriate for daytime work makeup, enough to say hay i don’t have a hang over see?
My experience:  i’m gonna add this little bit on top of my likes and dislikes.  this purchase was sorta a whim, yeah been doing that lately, LOL i’ll snap out of it, soon.  But it was there on hand so i thought i’d give it a go. it’s SKW15,800 on the Tony Moly website and on Charmaine’s on-hand item’s page it was being sold for PhP725.  the forex is for the skw is at 15800 so it translates to PhP630.  see? see? this is why i am loyal to her!  she knows we, the people, research! so she gives the fairest markup.  naturally, there should be some mark up for her, her shipping fr SK her contact there, wholesale, blah blah, you get my drift.  and that freebie, makes the purchase definitely more than i bargained for.
and now for the product
  • the coverage, blend well with the brush that comes with it.  it medium to full coverage for something of a mousse consistency and a ‘bb’ covered my pores and scars well.
  • shade matches me
  • did not oxidize
  • lasted the whole day, i only blotted the oils from my face twice and didn’t retouch
  • no violent reactions from my skin so far
  • no discernible scents.  the brush picked up the scent of the holika holika pore cover mousse starter so now two of my brushes smell like strawberries and cream. LOL
  • the brush, yey another flat top brush.  just what i needed actually 😉 it’s soft, not scratchy and blends the product just right 😉 it’s handy and conveniently placed as part of the lid.
  • satin finish, not dewy not matte but a nice soft to the touch finish
  • packaging is sleek like most tony moly items 😉
  • it takes very little of the product to cover your entire face
  • phhhftt c’mon tony moly, this aint no bb cream if it doesn’t have spf.  i have to put a separate layer of sun screen under my base.  extra step, hayz
  • the product settles in the container tub, but i guess it’s the nature of the product since it’s whipped and the air fizzled out during shipment.
  •  need a spatula to get the product out.  i aint digging my fingers in that.
  • with the parabens it has, it still has an expiration of a year? ay revlon where are you [2yrs for their colorstay liquid foundation to expire once opened].  i mean it takes just a tinee bit for nearly full coverage
Do i recommend:  yeah, sure, if you want medium to full coverage FOUNDATION this is a good purchase. comes with a brush even 😉 and theirs a 3rd shade for women who have warmer tones of skin shades.
Will I repurchase:  I hardly try anything twice, this is one of those products i won’t try again.  it’s pretty good though for a foundation.
Disclaimer: Some of the Etude House Products have been sitting on my vanity since even before my last[most previous] collective haul. i was merely waiting to complete the tangerine collection or at least have the cream choux especially in #2 [the only one of the 4 that i would actually use] but to this day, it’s out of stock at my favorite mega mall branch. AND THEREFORE, these weren’t purchased in one day, i.e. last april 7 pa nagbukas ang F21 sa makati, some of these are free give aways, thanks to Etude and Charmaine of kkochipida
as some of you might have seen in my twitter/twitpic i went to the first weekend opening of the forever21 branch in sm makati:
here are the items i got:
to this day i’m over the moon with jeans that are less than PhP600, P545 to be exact and cotton tees for PhPP183 in a comfortable mall in a boutique with some sort of a name LOL, well sikat naman ang F21 sa youtube eh, so in fairness it has a name and the couple of Koreans that own F21 are already listed in Forbes, so ahem 😉
i was also there the day the new etude house branch in mega B opened. i was just a tad too early but i got a few pix.
first few hours were for the media then by passed 12, they opened the doors for the general public. this branch is a great deal bigger than their previous shop in mega A. are you curious what shop will replace the space left behind by Etude house??? 😛
if you use your citrus rcbc master card you get a further 5% reduction in price.  it’s pretty hard to beat, ahem tfs and skin food!
if you spend a certain amount at Etude House they had a special promo where you get to spin this wheel:
you want quality products for a less expensive amount? try Korean products, bwahahaha eh ako na defensive. phhhffft.
stuff came in from Charmaine. Lioele, Tony Moly, Baviphat at 50% off, and loads of freebies from her.
a couple of items from The Face Shop. the sticker set came from Thor of Space Encounters
a more recent purchase, the Big shampoo was a gift from the jowa, while the american cream is just ♥♥♥ for me, this is the conditioner whose scent lasts on my hair even after the next shampooing.
first time ever for me to buy a high end blush this blush just suits my complexion well and does not oxidize on me. comparative review on this and my theBalm hot mama coming up, hopefully this week ☺♥
Aha! Rohto clear! this one was a present from my sister in law, theBenj’s younger sister who visited from the states. omg, this thing is painful! but woah effective! Tao’s Makeup or iamgrape1119 on YT did say it was painful as hell the first few times but it really is much better than just your normal visine or eyemo. this is from riteaid. thanks Carol ☺♥
and my kpop stuff. and again, i didn’t buy all this shizz in one sitting.  I got them them from different Kpop stores namely Space Encounters and Fangirl Asia [through hero-Tania].  the lucky days cd was a gift from a friend of mine, Dek. defensive much again? let’s take that one step further, i’ve got a stable job and no kids, makeup and kpop are my only vices, araseo?
that’s all for now folks, can’t wait to review these items!
Ciao ☺♥
The Body Shop did not pay me to review their product. I paid for this bb cream with my own money.  video review below:

So last Thurs i went to one of the demo launches of this bb cream at the body shop with Algo/hero-Tania.

naturally i was intrigued as it’s a bb cream and this time it’s from the body shop.
it’s very creamy and not at all as watery as that thing maybelline calls their bb cream.
sorta matches the skin on my neck but i still notice a yellow undertone.
photo above taken without a flash – bb set with a little revlon colorstay aqua
photo above taken with flash – bb set with a little revlon colorstay aqua

photo above taken on another day with flash several hours after application also
bb set with a little revlon colorstay aqua. [this is day i fell in love with the Nars Orgasm blush] mental note – don’t go in there! parang horror slasher flick lang! 😛

I’ll just present most of what i said in my video in bullet points
  • creamy and easy to apply
  • good shade match – yellow undertone [unlike my the face shop hydrosplash bb cream which was just plain white even on my fair skin]
  • not reflective – i don’t end up looking like a floating white head
  • can be applied with fingers and still get good results [ahem the face shop hyrdrosplash bb cream]
  • has not broken me out yet
  • finish – semi-dewy
  • i like this better than the face shop hydrosplash bb cream just bec it applies better and has a better shade match
  • doesn’t cover my scars well
  • i’m oily in about 2-3 hours compared to my expert triple blemish bb cream  fr tony moly [that only have to blot the oils away 2x a shift]
  • in line with this, it doesn’t last too long without being set with some like mineral foundation [i used the body shop’s mineral foundation on the day of the event and my own revlon colorstay aqua mineral foundation]
  • the price!!! – PhP1195 for something that’s only 30ml for something other bb creams promise anyway [whitening, anti wrinkle, moisturizer, sun protection, makeup base, foundation and a partridge in a pear tree]
Will I recommend:   yes, to those who are interested [and have the budget] in bb creams but don’t know much about asian brands and are still timid about Korean cosmetics 😉 c’mon you can do it!
Will I repurchase: truth be told, i got this tineeweenee bottle at an introductory – thank you for coming – price of PhP500 but as much as it performed like any other bb cream – minus the coverage and lasting power, this is not something on my repurchase list

ERRATUM:  this brand is now available at SM Makati and hopefully spreads to nearly all sm branches esp my favorite, sm megamall!
visit their facebook page for updates

the plastic box that came with this pallet had instructions or an illustration on which shade goes on what part of your lid.  albeit the instructions are in japanese, they are numbered so i basically got it, but LOL didn’t follow it.
i’ve used this in my last two tutorials and the shadows are very pigmented and do not crease.  they are so easy to blend.  they are are even softer than my stila shadows and even theBalm shadows i have.
now i get it why fuzkittie keeps on using the sponge tip applicators that come with these shadow pallets,  they are so wonderful.  the sponge rubber tip is very fine compared to the not so good sponge tip applicators that you may be used to with western brands.  the sponge tip applicator that comes with this majolica majorca pallet is very sturdy and wont disintegrate when you wash it or while using it.  since the texture of the shadows are uber soft, i would advice to use this applicator than a brush.
photo below taken with the flash on:
photo below taken without the flash on:
i got this particular pallet because it had the most unique combination of shades.  while the rest are either in the pinky shade or the neutral shade and the usual purple smoky shade.  i got this in watson’s in bangkok last year.  huhuhu they have it in watson’s.  but wait there’s more!  our watson’s will have majolica majorca soon, too!  watch out for further announcements on the majolica majorca philippines facebook page, for now they are saying that they’re coming soon.  while Nikki of askmewhats says the launch should be either last week or this week.  so watch out watson’s sm makati wuhuuut!  imma gonna visit you after so long!

  • shimmery shades
  • really pigmented shimmery shades
  • uber as in uber soft powder, softer than my stila and theBalm eye shadows
  • do not crease
  • not chalky
  • the rubber sponge tip applicator is just right for applying the shades
  • isn’t that blue, old rose faded pink, golden vanilla shade to die for?  while that olive green is very versatile.  i’ll just have to ask another person if it looks good on me. [lol i don’t think green is good on my skin at least not that kind]
  • the fact that Shiseido came out with a sister company/brand for a drugstore brand like this.
  • currently not available locally, which will end soon most likely by April we’ll see this brand available and popular in metro manila
  • the price ah well it’s japanese so it’s a tad pricy, this pallet is around PhP770 [converted fr Thai Bhat]
will i get the other pallets? you can bet on it!
do i recommend this brand: definitely

i’m seeing a lot of vloggers and bloggers have been putting up their best of 2010 or worse of 2010 or one girl, whose take on these year-enders did a video which i liked best, glintzy, that did a year end vlog that show cased items that she bought back in 2010 but either didn’t use or lost interest in or didn’t work out for her. so i’d like to put up something similar but stuff i’ve hit pan on, stuff that i’ve already finished the product of.
moving forward i realize that my review of the
skin food peach sake bb cream and my video on the bb cream review here:

seem to be the most read and viewed of all of my posts combined.
since i’m on to a different skin care line this year, i thought i ought to bid this hugely popular peach sake line a decent farewell review.
i used up two of each of the products you see in the initial picture.  i just had to stop using the bb cream only because shade #2 became a tad dark for the skin on my face.
the peach sake line is for women for oily to combination skin type and also their line to help with pores.  whether or not to cover up and make them look smaller or try to make them smaller is probably written hangul somewhere.

the emulsion:
is very watery creamy texture of white lotion. that dries up on my face in about a minute.  it’s very moisturizing without too much the glowy look.  the moisturizing effect lasts a full day and i don’t end up like a grease ball. BUT it does not affect the way my pores look like.  it doesn’t hide them nor does it shrink them nor does it give them light reflecting properties to mask my pores.

the serum:
OMG this serum.  i can’t say enough about this serum. it’s a combination of a creamy lotion with the qualities of a primer.  AND IT HAS little tiny reflective particles that ideally mask the pores on my t-zone area and around my nose and the apples of my cheeks.  compared to most serums this one is applied AFTER you apply the emulsion.  so it’s a serum moisturizer that can be a primer and keeps the oilies at bay.
the t-zone gel
this is the primer of the line.  but it didn’t turn out that way.  it was too watery-gel like, it dried up pretty quickly, it didn’t cover any pore.  BUT IT SURE DRIED UP MY ZITS a lot quicker than they normally dry out without this product, and any impending zit.  a primer this is not but it IS my pimple gel LOL.

  • the pump of the serum, in the two occasions i purchased the serum the pumps are easy to control, can do half pumps.  the hole of the pump the gel-cream like substance of the serum is small enough to keep the spurts controllable while big enough for something as thick as the serum.
  • the effect of the serum and the tzone block gel they were effective in different ways that i had anticipated but the effects were welcome and wonderful
  • locally available in our department stores in case you’re the type who just HAS TO HAVE IT as in naoo na.
  • the scent, i super love the scent.  it’s a peachy soft scent.  it makes me feel young and fresh
  • this is a great moisturizing set for people with oily to combination skin especially for summer since they’re very lightweight on my face

  • the use of glass bottles for the toner, emulsion, and the serum.  makes the products heavier than they should be and when they fall they might break
  • the prices in our department stores [in the Philippines].
if you are willing to wait for your korean products you can try my suki.  just pm her if she has on hand skin food products and other brands.  her prices are very fair and at par with ebay / amazon prices sometimes even cheaper.

Do i recommend this:  yes, for anyone who dislikes the heavy feeling of moisturizers on the skin.  the lightweight feel of this set is divine but they are quite effective.

i’ve been using this for my water line in the last couple of tutorials and well, here’s my 2cents worth:
i actually am over the moon with gel liners so my attention is not much into pencil unless it’s for my waterline and i super loved the performance of my styli style but that styli style was 500+ while etude’s is only 300+
it comes with a sharpener, too.
on the skin it’s as creamy as my styli style [which i truly hold dear, mind you].
i got the idea of running the tap on the product from Charry who did the same thing to one of her lipsticks.
so there, it truly is water proof.  so humidity proof and somewhat tear proof.  but remember, the heat of our body can melt eyeliner so it isn’t just water that can run eyeliner down our faces.
those dots? that’s after my not so successful attempts in rubbing off the eyeliner.  so there it doesn’t streak either. my only issue?  c’maaan, you know i’d have at least one issue with this, right?
kindly, notice my lower waterline.  how not so opaque and smudged out it looks.  since this thing is just not affected by water, NATURALLY IT’S GONNA BE REALLY HARD TO APPLY THIS ON THE WATERLINE, DUH, Marge. LOL.  the stila kajal eyeliner or even my beloved styli style were way creamier on my waterline.  but the styli style in all it’s creamy opacity does melt out and travel south of my waterline.

  • the honest to goodness waterproof quality of this product
  • the honest to goodness smudge proof quality of this product
  • the sharpener, oh my gawd for PhP300ish the sharpener is such a huge cherry on top
  • does not run
  • yet easy to remove with…you guessed it, the etude house lip and eye [makeup] remover
  • must i mention the price? LOL, this is etude house where you get value for money, uber cute packaging, and par performance with the rest of them, i.e. western products of the same price range prestige cosmetics, maybelline and covergirl
  • just one, it’s kinda hard to make it work on my waterline no matter how many times i layer it, but i have to accept that because it merely proves how waterproof it is.

Will I repurchase:  i’m gonna try their proof 10 liquid liner next just so i can use it on my waterline.

I do recommend this to people who don’t line their waterline, because on skin, like the skin on your lash line? this thing won’t budge.  better applied on primed eyes for a smoother application.
well i can’t type no more cuz of my kitteh.

thanks to fuzkittie the youtube make up guru i was influenced to look for and purchase the most expensive bb cream among my collection. and i’m not sorry for buying this.
L’egere White Multi BB
White Multi Blemish Balm Cream
sun protect + make up base + skin cover + foundationS for 24 hours, skin white, transparent, Moisture, and elastic

that’s what’s written on the bottle. ano daw? [say what naooo?]
finally, i get to this bb cream. this seemingly magical product to see if the women on the internet are right about this product.
let’s break it down, shall we?

it’s an updside down squeeze tube. after all of the bb creams i’ve tried, i think, for now, i prefer this type of squirt tube. somehow i have better control squeezing out the right amount of product that i need to spread over my entire face or specific areas.

The BB cream itself:
it’s a not too thick a cream. i can only describe the consistency as something between a hair conditioner and philadelphia cream cheese spread. it’s very easy to spread and blend over my moisturized oily to combination skin.
This smells really nice. a very faint baby powder scent, LOL, sadly, at least i think so, sadly, the scent dissipates right away.

The Shade:
it initially starts out a tad dark on my skin but then blends right in to what my skin shade really is.
it matches my skin. but, since the skin on my face IS slightly darker than the skin on my neck and chest, then it will still not match the skin on my neck even if i apply the bb cream on my neck. the solution a setting powder whose shade matches the skin on my neck.

Oil Control:
though it doesn’t really say that this formula is for oily to combination skin, it does slightly better in controlling my oily t-zone compared to my Etude House total age repair wrinkle repair royal bb cream or even compared to my missha perfect cover bb cream. the oil control of this L’egere Multi white BB cream is sorta like the face shop’s skin extra bb cream, at least on my face.

Lasting power:
it says 24 hours! Maybelline 24 hour and revlon colorstay this thing is sooo NOT. never the less it lasts a full day’s shift give or take a couples of hours. so about 8 to 10 hours with at least one blotting of some shine from my nose and surrounding area and one retouch with whatever compact i have in my purse.

Skincare/Blemish Balm:
it has not compounded the 2 zits i had while using this. in fact, i leaning towards the belief that it helped dried up the 2 huge a$$ zits i had during my monthly womanly thing, which is around the time i have those anyway.
Whitening effect. that’s kinda hard to gauge, considering i’ve only been using this a week. the only time i will admit that i’ve gone fairer is when the skin on my face finally matches my neck and chest.

dude, unless the bottle / label shows me a number and at least one + sign, then i will consider thing to only the bare minimum of SPF and no PA protection, which is about SPF6 similar to what the revlon colorstay for oily to combination skin has.

Coverage: ‘transparent’ nga daw eh LMAO [it did say transparent on the bottle doesn’t it?.  doesn’t cover up my pores too well but hides the redness around my nose.
Makeup Base:  i’ve only tried this as a makeup base under my the face shop phytogenic powder foundation [meaning not with any other kind of foundation yet] and so far it made the foundation last and i only touch up once and only blot the oil once or twice throughout the entire time i have the makeup on (usually about 8-10hurs)

i had used the l’egere multi white bb cream for the first time when i took this pic.  so with the right shade of setting powder this not only lasts it will match the skin on my neck and chest. Will I purchase this again?: at US$29.99 at [or a price starting at US$23 onwards] wow that’s a tough question. but then i have a lot of bb creams to go thru before i can justify another bb cream purchase. but I DO HIGHLY RECOMMEND this bb cream as a fantabulous makeup base or light coverage foundation for occassions you just super as in just can’t get out of the house without something on your face.
